For twenty years I have been a member of the Rotary Club of Belleville. It has really been a major part of my life and has changed my perspective on social caring. Rotary International is the largest service organization in the world with over a million members in over 100 countries. Our club’s mission is to assist youth within our community and throughout the world to realize their fullest academic, social and human potential.  Our motto is Service above Self. 

Charity

A major part of being a Rotarian is banding together to raise money for people in need.

For years one of our major initiatives in Belleville has been the Rotary Poker Walk for HIV/AIDS research and care for those not only infected but also those affected by this epidemic locally, nationally and around the globe. 

Community

The Rotary Club of Belleville enjoys a large base of active members willing to put in real time and effort toward the community. It has been an honor to serve with such great pillars of the community. Our largest fundraiser has been the Rotary Loves Kids golf tournament and street party which I have been involved with for 17 years.
